Microbiology Laboratory Analyst

Responsibilities

• Execute microbiological analyses following established methodologies for raw materials, bulk, packaging, semi-finished products, and finished products.
• Determine quality status (approval or rejection) within the SAP system to ensure compliance with established specifications.
• Notify and document any detected non-conformities, informing process owners and the Quality Manager for timely management.
• Ensure the efficient and rational use of microbiology laboratory resources and supplies.
• Provide necessary information for the Integrated Management System and support the implementation and maintenance of its activities.
• Comply with all environmental procedures and documentation to control aspects derived from daily laboratory activities.
• Participate in the implementation of corrective and improvement actions based on audit findings or monitoring results.

Requirements

• University degree in Microbiology or Bacteriology with an industrial emphasis.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in similar roles within the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or food industries.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Professional level computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialized studies, diplomas, or courses related to Quality, GMP, GLP, auditing, or Integrated Management Systems.
