Microbiology Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing and monitoring of raw materials, finished products, and environmental sites
• Review and evaluate microbiological test results and communicate findings and trends through daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Accurately document and record microbiological data into SAP or approved tracking systems
• Maintain laboratory operations by keeping work areas organized, managing supplies, and assisting with equipment maintenance
• Follow good laboratory practices (GLP), good manufacturing practices (GMP), and site safety and hygiene policies
• Support plant hygiene activities, including hygiene audits, meetings, and training activities

Requirements

• High school degree required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Science technical degree
• Experience in Food or Consumer branded products
• Experience with relevant ISO Quality standards or other quality standards
