Microbiology Biomedical Scientist

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of microbiological investigations
• Ensure accurate and timely analysis in accordance with laboratory protocols and quality standards
• Work collaboratively with clinical and laboratory teams
• Maintain detailed records
• Support the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services

Requirements

• HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council)
• Relevant degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
• Proven experience in microbiology within a clinical laboratory setting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• NHS experience
