Microbiology Biomedical Scientist

Responsibilities

• Process a wide range of microbiological specimens including culture, identification, and sensitivity testing
• Operate automated systems and perform manual laboratory techniques
• Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols
• Work closely with clinical and laboratory teams to ensure efficient workflow and accurate reporting

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist
• BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science or equivalent
• Relevant experience in diagnostic microbiology
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and automated platforms
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
