About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine Environmental Monitoring (EM) for manufacturing suites and sampling labs
  • Conduct sampling of utilities including water, steam, and compressed gases
  • Execute laboratory testing including enumeration, subcultures, Gram stains, and routine water testing
  • Perform product qualification testing and compile detailed reports
  • Assist in investigations for root cause determination, corrections, and CAPAs for deviations or audit findings
  • Maintain laboratory areas, including cleaning benches, incubators, and Biological Safety Cabinets
  • Ensure all laboratory operations remain in an audit-ready state
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with cGMPs
  • Train new Associates on SOPs and assist with qualification tasks
  • Provide input into technical documents such as validations, SOPs, and Quality Control reports

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in a Life Sciences discipline preferred
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in a cGMP or laboratory environment
  • Proficiency with aseptic techniques and gowning for aseptic environments
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with laboratory troubleshooting and data entry
  • Ability to perform testing in a highly accurate and reproducible manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team following detailed directions
