Microbiologist

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing on routine and non-routine samples according to SOPs
• Prepare culture media, reagents, and laboratory supplies
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
• Ensure compliance with GLP, ISO 17025, and SINGLAS standards
• Perform internal QC duties and participate in proficiency tests
• Support method validation, verification, and continuous improvement activities
• Support internal/external audits and regulatory inspections
• Maintain aseptic techniques and follow biosafety procedures
• Manage laboratory inventory and cleanliness

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Biological Science, Microbiology, or equivalent
• At least 1-year relevant laboratory experience (excluding internship)
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Strong analytical skills and scientific writing ability
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and operations
