About the role
Responsibilities
- Create and implement sales and operational activities for Wedding, MICE, and events business
- Proactively target Wedding and MICE opportunities, especially in Japanese markets
- Sell hotel event spaces and drive Rooms and F&B revenue
- Plan, lead, and execute all Japanese MICE & Wedding events
- Establish local partnerships and co-operations to promote accommodation and events
- Establish and maintain relationships with assigned MICE agencies
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Fluent in Japanese with a certified language test (minimum N2)
- Eloquent in English (written and spoken)
- Proven track record of achieving targets
- Strong organizational, time management, and negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field
