About the role
Responsibilities
- Load and unload wagons or containers
- Scan pallets into correct locations
- Ensure pallets are delivered in good condition
- Manage time effectively to complete all tasks
- Maintain equipment and report faults immediately
- Follow site safe systems of work
- Assist team leaders or management as needed
- Ensure full handover to following shifts
- Adhere to site rules regarding walkways, smoking, eating, and PPE
Requirements
- Experience operating a counterbalance forklift
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Knowledge of Health & Safety in a warehouse
- Computer literacy with WMS experience
- Good communication and time management skills
- Self-motivated and flexible approach
