MH-60R Aviation Logs and Records Clerk

Responsibilities

• Manage and sustain aircraft logbooks, aeronautical equipment service records, and maintenance files in accordance with aviation regulations.
• Utilize management information systems to maintain aircraft forms and records.
• Draft and submit aircraft/engine management and inventory reporting system reports.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly reports as assigned.
• Process readiness documents and administer the aircraft configuration status accounting program.
• Monitor aircraft configuration status, weight and balance, and aircraft inventory data for accuracy.
• Perform data entry and administrative support in systems such as OOMA, AME, IMDS, CETADS, and CEMS.
• Comply with Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Hazardous Waste, and Tool Control Programs.

Requirements

• Two years of aviation clerical experience maintaining aircraft logbooks and aeronautical equipment service records.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a NAC(T3) background investigation and drug test.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Ability to work all assigned shifts and schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with US Navy or FAA aircraft logbooks and documentation.
• Experience with automated management information systems: OOMA, NALCOMIS, AME, IMDS, CETADS, or CEMS.
• Experience with MH-60R/S, F/A-18, EA-18G, E-2C, or F-16N aircraft.
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance manuals, publications, and forms.
