About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration and certification of electronic measuring and test equipment according to technical specifications
- Ensure traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
- Calibrate and repair equipment including multimeters, frequency counters, timers, oscilloscopes, and pressure devices
- Calibrate standards used in calibrations and maintain equipment to established performance standards
- Record maintenance activities in CMS and generate reports on test results, equipment conditions, and repairs
- Coordinate in-house and vendor calibrations to support the Metrology Program
- Utilize common laboratory measuring, calibrating, and test equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma with 3+ years of experience in the field, OR an Associate's degree in engineering technology with 3 years of experience
- Working knowledge of voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, time and frequency, or signal conditioning
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel
- US citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IndySoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track, or Met/Cal
- Completion of PMEL, TMDE, or calibration school
