About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration and certification of electronic measuring and test equipment according to technical specifications and NIST traceability
  • Calibrate and repair equipment including multimeters, frequency counters, timers, oscilloscopes, and pressure devices
  • Coordinate in-house and vendor calibrations to guide workflow
  • Record maintenance activities in CMS and generate reports on test results, equipment conditions, and repairs
  • Maintain calibration standards and equipment to established performance standards
  • Utilize common laboratory measuring, calibrating, and test equipment

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 3+ years of experience in the field, or an Associate's degree in engineering technology with 3 years of experience
  • Working knowledge of voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, time and frequency, or signal conditioning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel
  • US citizenship is required
  • Ability to work the swing shift (2pm - 10pm)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IndySoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track, or Met/Cal
  • PMEL, TMDE, or calibration school training
