Metrology Technical Office Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of 6 technicians responsible for defining work methods and providing technical support within the Metrology Laboratory.
• Ensure the availability of necessary resources, including equipment, measurement chains, and procedures, to guarantee metrological monitoring of production equipment.
• Drive technical support activities by constructing and monitoring performance indicators, such as updating operating modes and processing times.
• Develop the team's metrological expertise regarding aeronautical constraints and flight safety, including uncertainty calculations and continuous improvement.
• Manage technical relationships with external service providers and ensure compliance with current regulatory frameworks.
• Optimize activity economics through investment management, standard utilization, and technological monitoring.

Requirements

• Bac+5 degree with at least 3 years of experience, or Bac+3 degree with 7 to 10 years of experience, ideally specialized in metrology.
• Proven management experience leading technical teams, preferably in a demanding industrial environment.
• Deep expertise in metrology principles and aeronautical sector requirements (uncertainty calculations, quality standards, and regulatory frameworks).
• Proficiency in technical English (minimum B1 level / TOEIC score above 680).
• Strong analytical skills, organizational rigor, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in office tools and technical management systems.
