About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end logistics lifecycle for metrology equipment, including receipt, shipment, tracking, and return of calibration assets
- Perform on-site pickup and delivery of measurement equipment between customer locations, laboratories, and vendors
- Manage equipment intake processes, including verification, documentation, and system entry
- Package and prepare equipment for shipment in accordance with established procedures and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate, real-time updates in enterprise tracking systems such as IndySoft or MetTeam
- Interface with customers, technicians, and program management to communicate equipment status and delivery timelines
- Perform calibration and certification of basic electronic and physical measuring equipment according to technical specifications
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of logistics or coordination experience
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to perform driving duties
- Experience with tracking systems (SAP, IndySoft, MetTeam, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and transport equipment and follow safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of logistics experience in technical or metrology environments
- Experience with SAP, Maximo, or similar enterprise systems
- Familiarity with calibration or metrology processes
- Experience with vendor coordination, RMAs, and shipping processes
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 or other regulated environments
