About the role

Responsibilities

  • Use metrology scanners such FARO, Romer, Creaform C-Track, MetraSCAN, and GOM ScanBox to acquire geometrical scan data
  • Process raw scan data, remove noise, and export files using 3D metrology software like PolyWorks and Zeiss
  • Create and maintain inspection files, interpret results, and produce accurate inspection reports
  • Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure conformance to requirements
  • Perform inspections utilizing engineering drawings, standard procedures, and calibrated manual gages
  • Record and maintain accurate data including inspection results and non-conformance reports (NCRs)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain the Metrology Lab following 5S principles

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a Quality inspector role in aerospace, automotive, or relevant production
  • High-school diploma
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Proficient computer literacy (Windows, Teams, Excel)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate scanning arms for extended periods
  • Ability to lawfully access information subject to US export controls

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or higher degree in a technical field
  • Background interfacing with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams
  • Experience in regulated or high-performance manufacturing environments
