About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair, and upgrades on wafer fabrication metrology equipment, including AFM, CDSEM, 4-point probe, and defect inspection tools.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Monitor equipment performance and manage consumable changes.
  • Complete technical documentation and provide training to others on equipment maintenance procedures.
  • Interface with Operations and Engineering personnel to ensure safety, performance, and reliability requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically within the Metrology or Defect area.
  • Solid understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control) and FDC (Fault Detection and Classification).
  • Ability to stand for long periods (up to 12 hours) and work in confined spaces.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AS or AAS degree in electronics, industrial engineering, or a related technical discipline.
