Metrology & Calibration Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and certification of Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) in metrology parameters including radio, high frequency electronics, and DC/LF equipment
• Use calibration standards to calibrate, adjust, certify, maintain, and repair equipment
• Conduct routine tests, analyze data, and document results using established systems
• Identify, document, and route non-conforming items in accordance with lab processes
• Process equipment using approved calibration procedures, specifications, and drawings
• Assist in the development of new calibration processes and procedures
• Perform necessary computations to analyze measurement test results

Requirements

• U.S. Person status (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
• 2+ years of experience in an electrical or electronic laboratory test environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with DC/LF or RF and Microwave Metrology processes
• Experience with MET/CAL, LabVIEW, or Basic/Visual Basic
• 3+ years of experience in electrical/electronic metrology or measurement science
• Experience in a PMEL (Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory) back shop
• Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) designation
• Associate's degree or higher in a related field
• Experience in the aerospace industry or using data acquisition units
