Metrologist

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure compliance with the calibration and verification program for inspection, measurement, and testing equipment (EIMP).
• Perform dimensional analysis and measurement reporting for product validation and PPAPs.
• Administer and maintain the metrology laboratory.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 quality system requirements.
• Conduct capability studies and measurement system analyses (MSA/R&R).
• Support production and quality teams with dimensional interpretation and tolerance analysis.
• Coordinate measurement method homologations with customers and suppliers.
• Train internal personnel on measurement methods and equipment.

Requirements

• TSU or Engineering degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive or appliance industries.
• Proficiency in PC-DMIS software (indispensable).
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Experience with CMM and Scanner programming.
• Proficiency in Minitab.
• Knowledge of MSA, SPC, and uncertainty calculations.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO IEC 17025 standards.
• Intermediate English skills.
