About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform calibrations and accuracy verifications of measurement and test equipment (IM&TE) used in production, product development, and R&D.
- Calibrate electronic test measuring and signal generating equipment using Fluke MetCal / MetTeam automated calibration software.
- Maintain accurate written and calibration records within the CMMS database.
- Write calibration procedures, prepare documentation, and generate technical reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex calibration problems by applying theoretical principles and analytical techniques.
- Disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective parts of test equipment.
- Review laboratory reports, engineering changes, and tooling prints for accuracy.
- Serve as a mentor or lead to less experienced personnel, reviewing their work for quality and content.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ISO-13485, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 8 or more years of progressively responsible experience in the calibration of test equipment.
- Proficiency with Fluke MetCal / MetTeam software.
- Strong mathematical calculation skills and proficiency in technical terminology.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under minimal supervision and handle small precision devices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Precision Measurement Electronics Lab (PMEL) certification from the U.S. military or equivalent training.
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician certification.
