Metro Equipment Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage metrology equipment stability to ensure continuous operation.
• Create, release, and modify measurement recipes for new devices following standard operating procedures.
• Plan equipment deployment to improve cycle times and maximize equipment utilization.
• Respond to product abnormalities (SPC OOC/ORION) caused by metrology equipment.
• Communicate promptly with process areas regarding measurement abnormalities and perform root cause analysis when equipment issues arise.
• Provide detailed handovers to the next shift and report daily issues or questions to supervisors and team members.
• Adhere to all safety policies, 6S rules, and company security protocols.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong Japanese language skills for effective workplace communication.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment (4-day on/4-day off rotation).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across different departments.
• Ability to manage personal tasks and health effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Experience with troubleshooting equipment or process-related issues.
