Methods Technician

Responsibilities

• Define and validate detailed manufacturing processes for new products to improve manufacturability and meet QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) objectives.
• Create industrial documentation, including work instructions, inspection instructions, and ERP routings.
• Participate in design reviews and Process FMEA (P-FMEA) during the specification and design phases.
• Estimate and calculate precise manufacturing method times and perform task sequencing for workstations.
• Manage tool requirements by drafting technical specifications for necessary equipment.
• Support mass production through continuous improvement initiatives and the industrialization of product or process modifications.
• Assist production teams in achieving manufacturing targets and contribute to industrial feedback loops.

Requirements

• Proven experience in manufacturing, preferably within the railway industry.
• Strong technical knowledge in Methods/Industrialization, including work instruction drafting and line balancing.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (such as SAP) for managing BOMs, routings, and configuration tracking.
• Practical knowledge of Process FMEA and QRQC methodologies.
• Experience with time analysis tools such as MTM or UAS.
• Operational understanding of Quality, EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards, and Ergonomics.
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and a team-oriented mindset.
