About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and manufacture production tools including forming molds, assembly jigs, cutting templates, and fabrication supports.
- Utilize advanced technologies such as 3D printing, digital cutting, and plastic machining to create specialized tooling.
- Support the industrialization process by assisting technicians and artisans during the development of new models.
- Propose technical solutions to improve workstation ergonomics, ensure quality security, and optimize manufacturing times.
- Document all developed tools through CAD files, technical plans, and user manuals.
- Collaborate closely with the Workshop Manager, prototypists, and production teams to standardize methods between Paris and Spanish workshops.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Methods, Industrialization, or Tooling, ideally within luxury, industrial, or artisanal environments.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent.
- Strong technical knowledge of 3D printing, digital cutting, and the transformation of technical materials/plastics.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes, specifically within leather goods, footwear, or upholstery.
- Ability to operate and parameterize cutting and fabrication machinery.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a rigorous approach to organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience specifically in leather goods manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Spanish to facilitate technical coordination with our workshops in Spain.
