Methods Preparation Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Understand nuclear activities, construction codes, nuclear standards, metals, and internal procedures
• Participate in drafting documentation and processes, such as updating report templates and NDT controls
• Liaise with field preparers and project managers to facilitate feedback loops (REX process)
• Assist in drafting procurement requirements for base metals and standardizing requests
• Support site preparation including logistics, procurement, and technical support
• Learn to create execution files for prefabrication and assembly (LDA, DSI, risk analyses, etc.)
• Support continuous improvement of the Methods Preparation service
• Use internal software for data entry and manage information via SharePoint and KIZEO

Requirements

• Seeking an apprenticeship (alternance) for a 12, 24, or 36-month program
• Pursuing a Bac+2/3 degree in nuclear preparation, methods, or boilermaking (CMEN, IWS, or BTS CRCI)
• Ability to read and trace isometric drawings, P&IDs, or industrial drawings
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D is appreciated
• Strong computer literacy and ability to use internal software
• Good interpersonal skills for communicating with suppliers and internal teams
• Strong written communication skills in French
• Driver's license (Permis B) for occasional field travel
