Methods Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze production feasibility by assessing costs, impacts, and risks of production changes
• Draft necessary working and repair documents, including MIWOs, LOGs, and TWOs
• Assist with analyzing equipment and workstation production capacity
• Support Methods Planners with tool designs and manufacturing document revisions
• Assist in the revision of shop floor layouts and new manufacturing equipment requirements
• Validate and approve the compliance of engineering drawings, documents, and tool design concepts
• Prepare manufacturing manpower estimates and create Numerical Control Manufacturing Plans
• Develop and maintain Methods procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• 0-2 years of experience in Methods, Material Planning, or a related area
• Basic knowledge of SAP, ACAD, and Catia V4/V5
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Basic knowledge of Project Management principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing background
