About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute engineering processes for the TUSA transformer factory expansion and plant adequacy.
- Oversee the end-to-end installation, assembly, testing, and commissioning of new industrial machinery and equipment.
- Manage project finances, including planning and controlling CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
- Manage the asset lifecycle, including technological upgrades, replacements, and managing equipment obsolescence.
- Coordinate third-party service providers and suppliers during field installations to ensure quality and deadline compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve ergonomics.
- Ensure strict adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards in all activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Proven experience in industrial projects or related areas.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical and electrical projects.
- Intermediate to Advanced English skills.
- Availability for travel and working in shifts.
- Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with internal factory teams, maintenance, and external vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the transformer production process.
- Experience with PLC programming (Siemens PLC knowledge is a significant plus).
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
