Metals Procurement Consultant

Responsibilities

• Analyze spending and identify optimization levers for metal categories (steel, aluminum, copper, stainless steel, etc.)
• Manage the tender process and negotiate framework agreements with suppliers
• Support stakeholders in continuous improvement initiatives, including innovation and process optimization
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic suppliers
• Monitor raw material market trends to anticipate price fluctuations and supply risks
• Conduct sourcing and implement consultations (RFI, RFP, etc.)
• Track procurement performance indicators and ensure supply security regarding cost, quality, and lead times

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+4/5) in Procurement, Supply Chain, or equivalent
• Deep knowledge of metal raw material procurement and market dynamics
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills in industrial environments
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a volatile market context
• Strong analytical skills and organizational rigor

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Procurement Information Systems (SI Achats) or supplier performance management tools
