About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM), change point management (CPM), and system maintenance following standard operating procedures.
- Conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot equipment using established scripts to anticipate and resolve future failures.
- Monitor equipment and processes in their current state to proactively identify and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams on setup, calibration, and system support tasks.
- Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data for in-line adjustments to products and equipment.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental management system guidelines.
Requirements
- 2-year technical certification (e.g., TTI, ITT, Trade Cert, HVAC) OR 3+ ASE certifications OR 4 years of Semiconductor Technician experience OR 4 years of equivalent technical military service.
- Electro-mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity.
- Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) methods and implementation.
- Familiarity with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to strictly adhere to SOPs and work off-hours if necessary.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, continuous improvement environment.
