Metals Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor wafer fabrication equipment and respond to technical issues
• Qualify new manufacturing equipment and coordinate scheduling for downtime
• Use data analysis software to identify trends and make processing decisions
• Adjust equipment parameters and monitor processes following maintenance
• Execute in-line changes (CPM) to processes or equipment
• Develop improved processes to increase capability and monitor operational costs
• Revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and communicate technical information via presentations

Requirements

• BS or MS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Computer Science
• Experience with scripting in Python, VBA, or equivalent languages
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis software (Spotfire, JMP, Matlab, etc.)
• Knowledge of Lean, TPS, or 5S principles and Change Point Management
• Proficiency in structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, 7-step, etc.)
• Ability to work in a clean room environment wearing required PPE and clean room suits
• Ability to support shift duties in a 24x7 manufacturing environment
