Metallurgist

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement laboratory procedures
• Perform metallographic testing and analysis
• Analyze material defects using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
• Prepare research reports and interpret results based on applicable material standards
• Lead and initiate quality and technological projects using statistical methods
• Support the implementation of new parts into production
• Collaborate with international engineering teams
• Develop purchasing specifications and conduct acceptance testing for new laboratory equipment
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements for all managed products
• Provide training to operators regarding strength testing procedures

Requirements

• Higher technical degree in materials engineering, metallurgy, or a related field
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to read and interpret material standards
• Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
• Knowledge of special process technologies
