About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement laboratory procedures
  • Conduct metallographic testing and material analysis
  • Perform root cause analysis of material defects using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
  • Prepare research reports and interpret results based on applicable material standards
  • Initiate and manage quality and technological projects using statistical methods
  • Support the implementation of new parts into production
  • Collaborate with international engineering teams
  • Develop purchasing specifications and perform acceptance testing for new laboratory equipment
  • Ensure compliance with quality requirements for all managed products
  • Provide training to operators regarding strength testing procedures

Requirements

  • Higher technical degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Ability to read and interpret material standards
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
  • Knowledge of special process technologies
