Metal Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise UAW Skilled Trades personnel in the construction of concept and show vehicles
• Administer GM/UAW National and Local UAW Agreements
• Develop, coordinate, and track property plans for major builds and fabrication requests
• Drive first-time quality throughout the model build process
• Manage resource and workload planning, tracking, and reconciliation
• Troubleshoot builds and modify build strategies in a fluid environment

Requirements

• 10 years of fabrication experience
• Extensive experience in engineering, fabrication, and the build of concept vehicles, exterior/interior design properties, and proof of concepts
• In-depth knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of specialty/concept vehicle construction from raw materials to finished product
• BBA or equivalent professional experience
• Strong technical, organizational, and leadership skills
