Responsibilities

• Fabricate architectural metals using pneumatic tools for products such as storefront doors and frames
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
• Measure work piece dimensions to ensure accuracy
• Perform minor workstation fabrication
• Read and interpret hardware templates
• Maintain a clean work area and promote a safe work environment
• Perform tasks with minimum supervision

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Basic math and writing skills
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day wearing safety boots
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures (heat, humidity, etc.)
