About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials for correctness and manufacturability
- Set up and operate fabricating machines including press brakes, laser/punch machines, horizontal bend machines, and CNC routers
- Manufacture metal and plastic parts to specific requirements and schedules
- Utilize measuring devices such as 3D Scanners, micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Maintain production equipment and a safe, clean work environment
- Document errors, update dashboards, and escalate technical problems
Requirements
- 3-5 years of fabrication experience, preferably in mixed metal fabrication
- 1-2 years of experience or training in document control
- Forklift certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled shop/warehouse environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean manufacturing experience
