Experience with metal cutting tools (asset), Knowledge of metals (asset), Knowledge of OHS rules, Good physical condition, Ability to work outdoors in all weather
About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment is in good working order before starting the day
- Use oxyfuel cutting torch to cut oversized metal parts according to requirements
- Dismantle materials while respecting metal integrity to maximize value
- Maintain clean premises at all times
- Perform other related tasks as requested
Requirements
- Experience with metal cutting or cutting tools (asset)
- Knowledge of metals (asset)
- Awareness of occupational health and safety (OHS) rules
- Good physical condition and manual skills
- Ability to work outdoors 100% of the time in noisy, dusty, and varying weather conditions
- Independent, methodical, and proactive work style
