Metal Cutting Labourer

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is in good working order before starting the day
• Use oxyfuel cutting torch to cut oversized metal parts according to requirements
• Dismantle materials while respecting metal integrity to maximize value
• Maintain clean premises at all times
• Perform other related tasks as requested

Requirements

• Experience with metal cutting or cutting tools (asset)
• Knowledge of metals (asset)
• Awareness of occupational health and safety (OHS) rules
• Good physical condition and manual skills
• Ability to work outdoors 100% of the time in noisy, dusty, and varying weather conditions
• Independent, methodical, and proactive work style
