Messenger Driver

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation and delivery of internal mail, couriers, equipment, and materials throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
• Identify items for transport and verify instructions to ensure proper distribution using SendSuite and track-and-trace methods.
• Securely transport both low and high-value items, ensuring signatures are obtained where required.
• Maintain the bank's vehicles and equipment by reporting any necessary maintenance or damages.
• Support the department with various administrative or operational duties during downtime.
• Adhere to all transportation regulations, bank policies, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driving history.
• Strong knowledge of GTA street geography and logistics.
• Physical ability to lift up to 750lbs and perform tasks involving bending, reaching, twisting, and walking.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet trucks and two-wheel dollies.
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours and drive in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• F Class Driver’s License.
