MES Technician

Form Energy is an American manufacturing and energy technology company revolutionizing energy storage with cost-effective, multi-day technology designed to keep the electric grid secure and reliable. We are scaling up battery manufacturing at our high-volume facility in West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide first tier support to production lines for day-to-day MES operations, fixes, and troubleshooting software and hardware
• Troubleshoot MES issues by reviewing log files, event reports, and communicating with users
• Act as a liaison between the factory floor and the MES development team to capture user feedback and identify improvements
• Train system users on new features and updates
• Perform basic network and device troubleshooting
• Participate in training end users on effective use of the MES platform

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or equivalent work experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for relaying technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently with excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment working with software systems
• Experience with office software (Excel, Word), basic REST concepts, SQL queries, and basic database concepts
• Experience writing technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and Software stakeholders
• Experience with Jira
