MES Opcenter Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced MES Opcenter IT systems to support manufacturing operations and digital transformation
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and develop solution blueprints, data models, workflows, and UI mockups
• Manage a common MES code base across globally distributed systems to ensure consistency and efficiency
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and optimize workflows aligned with ISA-95 standards
• Lead MES deployment projects, including configuration, testing, validation, and GxP documentation management
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and on-call support to maintain system stability and performance
• Collaborate with vendors, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure project alignment and ROI

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
• 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Proficiency in SQL databases, scripting, and data integration tools
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience architecting solutions in Siemens Opcenter or Camstar
• Proven hands-on experience as an MES Functional Architect
• Knowledge of GxP compliance and ITIL frameworks (ServiceNow and Jira)
• Familiarity with enterprise applications such as ERP, SCADA, and PLM
• Experience working within complex matrix organizations and managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments
