MES Engineer/System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support MES and other manufacturing-related systems to ensure stable factory operations
• Administer and maintain Windows/Linux servers, Hyper-V virtualization environments, and SQL Server databases
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis
• Manage SQL Server backup/recovery, database performance optimization, and routine maintenance
• Support storage systems, file servers, SAN/NAS environments, and disaster recovery solutions
• Coordinate emergency response activities to ensure 24/7 business continuity
• Maintain system security, patch management, and infrastructure reliability
• Work with MES vendors, software engineers, and factory operation teams
• Develop and improve operational procedures and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in system administration or manufacturing IT environments
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration
• Familiarity with C/S architecture applications and enterprise manufacturing systems
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and Hyper-V virtualization
• Knowledge of storage systems, SAN/NAS, and disaster recovery
• Understanding of TCP/IP and network fundamentals
• Ability to support after-hours or emergency production incidents

Preferred Qualifications

• Mandarin speaking skills
• Microsoft SQL Server, VMware, or Windows Server certifications
• Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate certification
• Experience supporting MES systems in manufacturing environments
