MES Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead MES requirements analysis, solution architecture design, configuration, and implementation
• Deploy, launch, and sustain MES systems across production environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, IT, and automation
• Manage MES project delivery including planning, testing, validation, and go-live support
• Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and user guides
• Support integration of MES with ERP, PLCs, SCADA, and historians
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Train end users and provide technical guidance to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Hands-on experience implementing or supporting MES systems in manufacturing
• Strong understanding of MES design specifications and architectures
• Experience with manufacturing processes and shop-floor systems
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, SAP ME/MII, or Apriso
• Knowledge of system integration with ERP (SAP, Oracle), PLCs, and SCADA
• Familiarity with validation practices and change management in regulated environments
• Experience supporting multi-site or global MES deployments
