MERN Stack Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack
• Build high-performance RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js
• Develop clean, reusable, and responsive UI components using React.js
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability
• Write efficient MongoDB schemas, queries, and aggregations
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver business outcomes
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and tech decisions
• Own features from requirements to production rollout
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability

Requirements

• 5–7 years of real-world MERN stack experience
• Proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Experience with REST APIs and API security (JWT, OAuth)
• Proficiency with Git and version control
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and Responsive Design
• Product-driven mindset with strong ownership
• Ability to work independently and solve complex problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Redux, Zustand, or React Query
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with unit and integration testing using Jest or Mocha
