Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to develop and execute transaction strategies aligned with business objectives
• Manage all phases of M&A and investment transactions including structuring, due diligence, and closing
• Draft and negotiate definitive transaction documents such as purchase agreements and disclosure schedules
• Conduct and manage legal due diligence reviews and summarize findings
• Analyze legal, regulatory, and competitive considerations affecting transactions
• Advise clients on corporate governance and general corporate matters
• Interact directly with business executives, investors, and other stakeholders

Requirements

• 1–8 years of relevant experience in corporate transactions
• Admission to practice law in Nebraska or current eligibility for admission
• Experience drafting and negotiating transactional documents
• Experience with M&A due diligence processes
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong analytical and communication skills
