Merchant Services Representative

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via email and phone to support merchant accounts and network security.
• Educate customers on best practices, system use, and compliance with security frameworks like PCI-DSS.
• Assist customers with merchant processing applications and maintain accurate account records.
• Remotely install, configure, and troubleshoot custom payment applications, terminals, network equipment, and security software.
• Use backend systems to provision and monitor equipment and services for customers.
• Accurately enter and validate merchant account configuration data.

Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and MS operating systems.
• Fundamental knowledge of networking principles.
• Fundamental understanding of troubleshooting and diagnostic processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Current IT certifications.
• Previous experience in a call center environment using ticketing software.
• Previous experience performing remote technical work.
