Merchandising Team Leader (Assistant Manager)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and maximize productivity.
• Coach and train the team on visual standards, floorset execution, and brand marketing.
• Lead day-to-day merchandising, including sell-through adjustments and replenishment.
• Act as a Leader on Duty (LOD) to ensure a best-in-class guest experience.
• Recruit, hire, and develop talent to meet business needs and staffing requirements.
• Provide real-time coaching, performance feedback, and development plans to associates.
• Maintain store safety, asset protection, and operational standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail management role.
• Proven team leadership and people development skills.
• Strong business acumen and ability to analyze daily sales trends and KPIs.
• Excellent time management, multitasking, and attention to detail.
• Flexible availability to work during peak shopping hours.
• Understanding of employment law and ability to lead with integrity.
