About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound consignment inquiries from private clients and dealer consignors
- Oversee a portfolio of Books & Collectibles contacts and develop new business
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key individual consignors and dealers
- Liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams including operations, finance, and compliance
- Evaluate potential consignments for salability and negotiate commissions
- Serve as the main point of contact for account management and pre- and post-sale matters
- Manage the Books & Collectibles cataloger
- Maintain detailed status reports for all consignments
Requirements
- Proven account management or project management experience
- Working-to-expert knowledge of Books, Vintage Posters, Sports, or Editions
- Ability to manage multiple projects with sharp attention to detail
- High degree of business acumen and sophistication
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding monthly goals
- Ability to manage and work with teams in multiple locations
Preferred Qualifications
- Digital or online experience
