About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound consignment inquiries from private clients and dealer consignors
  • Oversee a portfolio of Books & Collectibles contacts and develop new business
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key individual consignors and dealers
  • Liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams including operations, finance, and compliance
  • Evaluate potential consignments for salability and negotiate commissions
  • Serve as the main point of contact for account management and pre- and post-sale matters
  • Manage the Books & Collectibles cataloger
  • Maintain detailed status reports for all consignments

Requirements

  • Proven account management or project management experience
  • Working-to-expert knowledge of Books, Vintage Posters, Sports, or Editions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with sharp attention to detail
  • High degree of business acumen and sophistication
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding monthly goals
  • Ability to manage and work with teams in multiple locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Digital or online experience
