Merchandiser

Responsibilities

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers, and displays with products in assigned accounts
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf to ensure freshness
• Transport products from the backroom to shelf locations using equipment like U-boats, hand trucks, or pallet jacks
• Set up promotional materials such as signs and banners
• Maintain backroom stock in a neat and orderly condition
• Build and maintain customer relationships at the store level
• Communicate store issues to both store managers and Pepsi management
• Use handheld devices to input orders and follow operating procedures

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and proof of insurance
• Access to a personal vehicle or reliable transportation to visit multiple store locations
• Physical capability to lift, load, push, and pull cases weighing 20-45 lbs
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and squatting

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a retail or grocery store environment
• Experience moving products within a store using manual equipment
• Prior experience with product merchandising and display building
• Experience managing backroom or stock room inventory

Benefits

• Competitive pay at $24.40 per hour
• $2,000 sign-on bonus for Day Shift (paid out in installments: $500 after 90 days, $500 after 6 months, and $1,000 after one year)
• Mileage reimbursement provided for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for a sales route
