About the role
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the product category, managing the full lifecycle from initial brief to final exit
- Develop and present range plans, including pricing strategy, COO, and competition strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Sourcing, Product Development, and Planning
- Build effective relationships with Regional Merchandising teams to gather product feedback and market research
- Run and analyze daily and weekly sales reports to propose strategic actions
- Manage sample budgets and ensure effective tracking and ordering of samples
- Maintain accuracy of seasonal market documents and PLM data entry
- Conduct competitive market and pricing analysis to inform strategy
- Manage and develop an Assistant Merchandiser
Requirements
- Proven experience in merchandising within a luxury or retail environment
- Strong market awareness and product sensitivity, particularly in RTW and Accessories
- Exceptional analytical ability and commercial mindset
- Advanced Excel skills with confidence working with data at pace
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Ability to manage projects independently in a fast-moving environment
