Merchandiser

Responsibilities

• Replenish products on store shelves, racks, displays, and coolers by transporting items from the backroom to the sales floor.
• Build, change, or remove product displays while adhering to company standards and maintaining proper signage.
• Manage backroom inventory by organizing products, monitoring levels, and utilizing FIFO (First-In, First-Out) rotation to ensure freshness.
• Evaluate and process damaged products, re-pack items, and organize backroom materials like pallets and shells.
• Communicate with team members and store personnel using the Teams app to provide account recaps, photos, and out-of-stock reports.
• Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and retail customers.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of work experience in grocery, retail, warehouse, manual labor, or a related field.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work.
• Possession of a personal vehicle for use during working hours.
• Valid Driver's License and current vehicle liability insurance with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs or more frequently.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills for reporting and communication.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by customer demand.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience operating equipment such as pallet jacks or high loader lifts.
• Ability to obtain powered industrial truck certification upon hire.
