Merchandiser

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising plans to ensure optimal product placement, display, and availability in retail stores
• Stock shelves, rotate products, build displays, and maintain coolers to ensure product freshness
• Implement promotional activities and marketing campaigns by setting up displays and signage
• Transport product between backrooms and display floors using manual or powered equipment
• Maintain accurate product counts by organizing backstock and managing backroom inventory
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with store managers and staff
• Follow all company and store policies regarding safety, replenishment, and equipment use

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company policy guidelines
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to repetitively lift, push, and pull up to 40-55 pounds
• Ability to reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend, and reach
• Ability to operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack, hand-truck)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in grocery, retail, consumer goods, or warehousing
• Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks
