Merchandiser

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising plans to ensure optimal product placement, display, and availability in retail stores
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and build displays to ensure product freshness
• Maintain product levels on store racks, shelves, displays, and in coolers
• Implement promotional activities and marketing campaigns by setting up displays and signage
• Transport product between backrooms and display floors using manual or powered equipment
• Manage backroom organization and accurate product counts
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record within policy guidelines
• Personal vehicle with insurance that meets or exceeds company requirements
• Ability to repetitively lift, push, and pull up to 40-55 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to reach above head height, squat, kneel, and bend

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in grocery, retail, consumer goods, or warehousing
• Experience operating manual or powered pallet jacks
