Merchandiser

Responsibilities

• Translate brand strategy and market trends into compelling, commercially viable product assortments
• Drive creative direction for graphics, embellishments, and packaging in partnership with design teams and vendors
• Negotiate, build, and source strategic and profitable product assortments
• Oversee the creative product lifecycle from trend research and concept development through sourcing and sampling
• Review tech packs and lab dips for accuracy and communicate approvals
• Conduct weekly merchandise status calls with clients and internal WIP meetings
• Manage day-to-day product development activities to ensure on-time launches
• Negotiate buying terms with suppliers including price, quantity, and delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising, Buying, Marketing, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of retail buying, product development, merchandising, or planning experience
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience implementing merchandise strategies and interpreting product trends
• Ability to work onsite in Woodinville, WA 4 days a week

Preferred Qualifications

• Custom cut and sew experience
• Experience developing custom hard goods or soft goods
• Experience with Smartsheet
• Experience with PLM or Oracle
